Police motorbike withdrawn

A police motorcycle at the centre of a safety probe has been withdrawn by several forces, it has been confirmed. Strathclyde and Central Scotland police have stopped using the Honda ST 1300 following the death of an officer in England who was riding the bike. Merseyside PC David Shreeve was crushed under a lorry in 2005 after falling from his Honda ST 1300A. An inquest into his death found he crashed after his bike began...
